“Christmas 2014”
“The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; upon those who dwelt in the land of gloom a light has shone.” Isaiah 9: 1
As winter starts
and days slowly lengthen,
we finish our Advent time together,
as Catholic school communities,
and prepare our homes and our hearts
for the Christmas Feast.
We give thanks for the faith
that kept us focused in times of darkness during 2014,
for the hope
that helps us face the new year with resolve,
and for the Love whose birth among us
we celebrate and share, teaching always and in all ways,
as Jesus did.
A blessed Christmas season to all!
Kathleen A. Cepelka, Ph.D. Superintendent of Catholic Schools
